Data processed and purposes
When you create an account, place an order or contact customer service, we process the necessary data: identity, contact details, billing and delivery addresses, and information relating to the account, order, payment, delivery and after-sales service.
This data is used to manage accounts and customer relations, fulfil orders, collect payments, organise deliveries, issue invoices, handle returns and warranties, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations. Depending on the purpose, processing is based on performance of the contract, a legal obligation, our legitimate interests or your consent.
Recipients of the data
Data may be accessed by authorised Megahertz Wireless personnel and is disclosed only where necessary to fulfil the order or comply with an obligation:
- to the selected payment platform to authorise, secure, collect or refund payment; it receives the information needed for the transaction under its own security and privacy terms;
- to the carrier selected for the order, including Colissimo or Chronopost, which receives the data needed to deliver and track the parcel: recipient identity, delivery address and, where necessary, email address or telephone number;
- to technical, IT or accounting providers acting on our behalf, within the limits of their role, and to legally authorised authorities where disclosure is required.
Megahertz Wireless does not sell your personal data. It is not disclosed to partners for their own marketing without your consent where consent is required.
Retention periods
Data is retained for as long as necessary to manage the business relationship and exercise rights. Accounting and invoicing records are archived for ten years. Data used for marketing is generally retained during the business relationship and for three years after it ends or the last contact, unless a legal obligation or justified different period applies.
Security
Megahertz Wireless implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against loss, alteration, unauthorised access or disclosure. Access is limited to personnel and providers who need it for their role.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR and French data protection law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability and object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent.

Account deletion
You may delete your account through the website where a deletion function is available, or request deletion. Account deletion does not erase data that Megahertz Wireless must retain for accounting, tax or warranty obligations, or to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
